Six Ways to Unlock
The C33 focuses on frictionless entry by giving you multiple ways to open the door:
- Fingerprint ID: Built directly into the thumb rest of the handle grip, allowing you to scan and pull down the lever in one fluid motion. It stores up to 50 fingerprints.
- Touchscreen Keypad: Enter digital PIN codes (stores up to 100 codes). It supports "scramble passcodes," letting you type random numbers before or after your real PIN so onlookers can't steal it.
- eufy Security App: Lock or unlock the door from anywhere via your phone.
- Voice Control: Integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
- Physical Backup Key: A traditional key hidden behind a slot for absolute emergencies.
- NFC Cards: Supports encrypted eufy-branded NFC cards (sold separately).
Key Specifications & Performance
- No Hub Required: Built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connects directly to your home network without needing an extra plug-in bridge.
- Power Source: Runs on 8 AA batteries. It provides low-battery warnings at 20% and lasts roughly 8 to 12 months depending on usage.
- Emergency Jump-Start: If the batteries completely die, a hidden USB-C emergency port lets you plug in a portable power bank to temporarily power the keypad.
- Weather Resistance: Features an IP53 rating. While it handles light splashing and dust, it is highly recommended for sheltered entries, garages, or indoor use rather than doors fully exposed to heavy downpours.
- Physical Fit: Installs on standard wood or metal doors with a thickness of 1-3/8" to 2-1/8", a 2-1/8" bore hole, and a backset of either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4". It features an ambidextrous design that adjusts for both left- and right-handed doors.
Smart Software Features
- Custom Access Control: Through the app, you can create permanent codes for family, scheduled codes for cleaners or dog walkers, or one-time codes for guests.
- Auto-Locking: Can be set to lock immediately or on a countdown timer (from 2 seconds to 1 hour).
- Privacy Mode: A toggle switch on the interior piece completely disables the outside fingerprint and keypad scanners, forcing the door to only be openable via a physical key from the outside.
- Ecosystem Sync: If you own eufy outdoor security cameras, you can view a live camera feed and lock/unlock the C33 from the exact same video screen.
